Dr. Hernando B. Delizo
Biography
Dr. Hernando B. Delizo is a highly distinguished physician-entrepreneur with over 40 years of clinical practice and more than 30 years of medical entrepreneurship experience across the full healthcare spectrum—including home care, out-patient clinics, hospital management, and elder care. An Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Delizo holds sub-specializations in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Geriatric Medicine, Integrative-Functional Medicine, and Regenerative and Cell Therapy. He is a certified business startup mentor and consultant specializing in strategic growth and workplace wellness. Throughout his career, he has pioneered several "firsts" in the Philippine healthcare industry, including the country's first mall-based urgent clinic, its first private nursing home, and CALABARZON's first chain of multi-specialty urgent care centers. Alongside his corporate leadership, he actively drives national health, wellness, and medical tourism initiatives through leadership roles in the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and DTI-JICA.

- Clinica Manila (Founder): Established the 1st and largest mall-based Urgent Clinic in the Philippines (SM Megamall, 1994). It was the 1st to be accredited by the DOH and PhilHealth as an Out-Patient Department (OPD) Day Surgery Center.
- HBD Institutes of Healthcare (President/CEO): Operates Wellness Place (the 1st private nursing home in the Philippines, established in 2001) and Grey-Gold Home-Mobile Aged Health.
- Wellcare Clinics and Laboratory (President/CEO): Established the 1st chain of multi-specialty clinics, urgent care, and day-surgery centers in CALABARZON (now with 6 branches, established in 1996). Launched the first healthy aging center in the province in 2023.
- OneHealthCard/OneHealthNetwork (President/CEO): Created a disruptive technology platform delivering personalized medical/wellness services via remote monitoring and predictive data analytics.
- MedHealth Diagnostic Services, Inc. (President/CEO): Operates a nationwide reference laboratory offering specialized tests including hormones, cancer markers, and gene testing for early detection.
