Biography

Bryan L. Ang is a distinguished Filipino business executive, corporate leader, and public-private sector advocate with extensive experience in corporate governance, trade facilitation, and international business relations. As President of the CLMC Group of Companies and President and Chief Executive Officer of BA Securities Inc., he has built a career spanning over two decades, leading organizations across finance, real estate, automotive, manufacturing, and international trade. His expertise in business management, policy advocacy, and corporate leadership has earned him appointments in both government advisory bodies and prominent business organizations. Ang completed his Bachelor of Science in Legal Management at Ateneo de Manila University from 1996 to 2000. He further pursued graduate studies at Harvard University, where he earned a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in General Management with a concentration in Marketing from 2001 to 2003. His academic background has provided him with a strong foundation in business strategy, leadership, and organizational management. In the corporate sector, Ang has held several key leadership positions. Since 2003, he has served as President of the CLMC Group of Companies, overseeing the organization's strategic direction and business growth. He has also been President and Chief Executive Officer of BA Securities Inc. since 2008. In addition, he serves as a Board Member of Bell Electronics Corporation and Dong Feng Motors Philippines Corporation, positions he has held since 2004 and 2009, respectively. He is also the Managing Director of Brentwood Realty Corporation, a role he has occupied since 2004. Previously, he served as a Board Member of ALL British Cars, Inc. from 2018 to 2023, contributing to the company's corporate governance and strategic initiatives. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Ang has played an active role in government and policy advisory bodies. Since 2024, he has served as the private sector representative to the Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Joint Committee on Administrative Order No. 23. He has also represented the private sector in the Customs Industry Advisory Council since 2010, contributing to discussions and initiatives aimed at improving customs administration and trade facilitation in the Philippines. Ang is likewise a respected leader in the country's business community. He currently serves as Board Director of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), where he is also Vice President for Trade Facilitation and Director-in-Charge of the Customs Consultative Group, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Youth Sector. He is a Trustee of the Human Resource Development Foundation and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc., while also serving as Vice-Chairperson of the External Affairs Committee, Executive Director, and Council Representative of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce, Inc. Since 2010, he has also been the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Peru in Region IV, strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Peru and the Philippines. His commitment to civic engagement extends beyond business organizations. Ang serves as Executive Vice President and Trustee of the Association of Philippine-China Understanding, Corporate Secretary of TZU CHI University Philippines Inc., and Vice Chairman of BA Foundation, Inc. He has also been Chairman of the Peru–Philippines Business Council since 2006, fostering stronger trade, investment, and business collaboration between the two countries. Throughout his career, Bryan L. Ang has demonstrated exceptional leadership in business, public service, and international relations. His diverse experience across corporate management, government advisory roles, trade organizations, and civic institutions reflects his commitment to promoting economic development, strengthening public-private partnerships, and advancing the Philippine business community on both the national and international stage.
