Look: PCCI Pres. Consul Enunina V. Mangio joined other private sector representatives in a panel discussion on “Enabling Impactful Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable Development” at the High-Level Conference of Middle-Income Countries held on April 28 at the Makati Shangrila Hotel, Makati City.

Pres. Mangio underscored the importance of shared cooperation between the government and the private sector to address the persistent challenges – limited access to finance, knowledge gaps, technology barriers and regulatory complexities – faced by Philippine MSMEs.

She also shared some of the initiatives that PCCI is currently doing with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to establish and regional innovation centers that will introduce MSMEs to new and innovative technologies, and addressing regulatory barriers for business efficiency with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).

Other PCCI representatives present at the conference were Hon. Chairman and Treasurer Sergio Ortiz-Luis Jr., Vice President for Regional Affairs, Membership and SDGs Ma. Alegria Sibal Limjoco, Assistant Treasurer and Director Bernardo Benedicto, and PCCI Secretary General Ruben Pascual.
