PCCI meets with the Poland Trade and Investment Agency

PCCI President Ambassador Benedicto V. Yujuico had a dialogue with Mr. Rafał Owczarek, Head of Foreign Trade of the Polish Investment & Trade Agency regarding the Philippine’s business prospects with Poland.


Ambassador Yujuico stressed that the main thrust of his presidency is innovation in which the Polish are likewise keen on.  He added that the tourism industry is expected to grow with the opening of the Polish flag carrier here to boost accessibility.


Mr. Owczarek noted that trade between the Philippines and Poland has been rapidly growing over the last two years with food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, construction, IT and furniture sectors as Poland’s key interests with the Philippines.  


Both the Embassy of Poland and the PCCI are enthusiastic of innovations and massive trade potential that will further develop with the planned Polish business delegation tentatively set in October.    


Also present in the meeting were Philippines – Poland Business Council Chair Allyson Artes, PCCI Secretary General Ruben J. Pascual, and International and Regional Affairs Assistant Secretary General Edwin R. Glindro.
