A 32-strong business delegation from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the Philippines-Malaysia Business Council (PMBC), led by PCCI Pres. Consul Enunina Mangio and PMBC Co-Chair Ms. Rhoda Castro-Caliwara, is currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a multi-day mission aimed at deepening economic cooperation between the Philippines and Malaysia.
On October 8, 2025, the PCCI-PMBC delegates attended the opening of the 9th Selangor ASEAN Business Conference at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre — a premier regional platform for dialogue on trade, innovation, and sustainable economic growth across Southeast Asia.
The mission underscores the shared commitment of both nations to strengthen business-to-business linkages, explore strategic partnerships, and create inclusive opportunities that advance mutual prosperity. Through active engagement in key ASEAN forums and direct dialogue with Malaysian counterparts, the delegation aims to foster greater collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
