PCCI discusses business opportunities with the La Cámara

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (La Cámara) President, Mr. John Peter Hager and Executive Director Ms. Barbara Apraiz paid a courtesy visit to PCCI President Amb. Benedicto Yujuico last March 05, 2020 to invite the PCCI to join the outbound delegation that the La Camara is organizing to Jerez, Spain from May 7 to 10, 2020,


The business mission will feature meetings with Spanish business people and visits to selected companies.


Due to the deep historical relations between two countries Mr. Hager noted that there is a lot of collaborations that Filipinos and Spanish can cultivate to broaden trade.


The PCCI and La Camara are open to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the chamber partnership and be a vehicle to increase two-way trade and investments.


Amb. Yujuico mentioned that both countries could put their small and medium enterprises together to collaborate in the power and logistics sectors, among others.


Philippines – Spain Business Council Chair, Mr. Jose Antonio C. Ibazeta said that Spain has advance technology that can be brought here to help modernize the local industries.


La Camara also invited PCCI to participate in its forthcoming activities like networking sessions and inbound mission.
