Mindanao

PCCI – Mindanao is divided into five regions: Northern, Western, Eastern, Central and Southern. Mindanao is the country’s second largest island and is endowed by vast natural and human resources, much of which are still untapped. Its tremendous potential is based on its ideal location (being situated outside the typhoon belt); abundant agricultural and marine resources; metallic mineral reserves; human resources; and possibilities for inexpensive hydroelectric power.
