PCCI – South Luzon covers two regions, Southern Tagalog (or Region IV) and the Bicol Region (Region V). Southern Tagalog is the country’s biggest region and is highly populated. Bicol region covers the peninsula forming the southeastern extremity of Luzon, together with several outlying islands. These two regions boasts of rich mineral, agricultural and marine resources as well as highly skilled workers and tourism attractions.

South Luzon Area Planning Workshop, January 29-30, 2008. PCCI EVP Edgardo Lacson challenged South Luzon LCCIs and its leadership to further chamber development in the area and to influence positive change in the local business.

 

 
PCCI – Camarines Sur Hosted Chamber Management Seminar for its Officers and Members PDF Print E-mail
PCCI – Camarines Sur hosted a Chamber Management Seminar for its officers and members,  “An Orientation on the Roles, Organization and Function of Chambers.”

The objective of the seminar is to enhance the knowledge of CSCCI members on the functions of a chamber and  the services it can offer.

The seminar was conducted by PCCI Vice President for South Luzon, Mr. Apolinar Aure, PCCI Secretary-General, Crisanto Frianeza, PCCI Assistant Secretary-General, Edwin Glindro and Mr. Edwin Moran of the PCCI Business Matching Unit.  It was attended by officers and members of the chamber as well as prospective members from different municipalities of the province.
 
PCCI – Camarines Sur Induction of 2010 Officers and New Members PDF Print E-mail
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – CAMARINES SUR held its Induction of Officers and New Members on Agust 7, 2010 at Villa de Rey Function Hall, Capitol Complex in Camarines Sur.

The event was also attended by local businessmen, local officials, chamber members and media men.  The event was graced by Gov. Luis Villafuerte Jr. as the Guest of Honor, PCCI Vice President for South Luzon Apolinar Aure as the Inducting Officer for Officers and Board of Directors and PCCI Regional Governor for Region IV Eduardo Nicolas III as the Inducting Officer for new members.

Mr. Jeremie S. Lo of Vast Agro Solutions Inc., was inducted as the new President of PCCI – Camarines Sur.
 
PCCI – CAVITE to host the 19th South Luzon Area Business Conference PDF Print E-mail
Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry - CAVITE will be hosting this year’s 19th South

Luzon Area Business Conference to be held on August 25-27, 2010 at the Taal Vista Hotel in
Tagaytay.

This year’s conference will serve as a venue for government and private sector leaders to dialogue on key policy issues concerning business and the economy particularly in Regions IV and V.

PCCI-South Luzon spearheads Business Confab PDF Print E-mail
In response to the call of the government for private sector support to the national economic development plan, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) -South Luzon will emphasize strong public-private sector partnership in its 19th South Luzon Area Business Conference (SOLABC) on August 26-27, 2010 at the Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City.

This year’s theme “Making a Difference to Every Enterprise” highlights key performance facilitators of success in business. It further recognizes that our present economy is intertwined with issues that call for integrated action from both private and public sectors to foster a more enabling business environment.

6th Halyao Awardees, 2010 PDF Print E-mail
The 6th Annual Halyao was held last July 3, 2010 at the Dolores Hall of Villa Caceres, Naga City. The Halyao awards, an annual event organized by the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognized 5 outstanding Bicolano Businesspersons of the Year. In Camarines Sur, Raul Rocha, 57, a contractor and a real estate property developer won as an outstanding Bicolano Businessman for Camarines Sur for his low cost housing projects in Naga City, a first in the province of Camarines Sur and Naga City. He is the President of LYRR Realty Development Corporation and other real estate firms. Mr. Rocha originally came from Tabaco, but made Naga City and Camarines Sur as the prime location of his real property businesses.
