In September 1999, then President Joseph E. Estrada led a Philippine Delegation to Latin America (Argentina, Brazil and Chile), composed of representatives from the government and from the private sector. One of the highlights of the visit to Argentina was the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the PCCI and the Camara de Comercio, Industria Y Produccion de la Republica Argentina (CACIPRA). PCCI also has an outstanding agreement with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for South-East Asia (ACCSEA) signed on 27 October 2005 by Ambassador Donald G. Dee and ACCSEA Executive Director Mr. Ernesto Fernandez Taboada. The Chamber appointed Mr. Jesus M. Pineda, Jr., Philippines, Inc. and Ugong Trade and Holdings president, to head the Philippines-Argentine Business Council (PABC). |
