PCCI’s Business Matching Session with Thai Delegation
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the Board of Investments (BOI) of Thailand recently organized a Business Matching activity between PCCI members and Thai business delegation last 01 September 2010 at the Royal Thai Embassy in Makati City. The Thai Delegation was led by Ms. Pannee Chengsuttha, Director-Europe Division of the International Affairs Bureau of the BOI-Thailand.

The delegation was composed of 12 Thai businessmen covering the following products/services: Rubber Sheets; Scale; Particle Board & Melamine Faced Chipboards; Ketchup & Canned Sardines; Canned & Frozen Seafood Products; Rice & Organic Products; Resort; and Restaurant. The delegates were mostly interested to explore business possibilities with local buyers, importers, agent companies, distributors and joint venture partners. They were met by their prospective local counterparts in the related fields.

The PCCI is indeed grateful for this visit of a delegation from Thailand after several years. This is an indication that ASEAN member-countries like Thailand still consider the region as one of the preferred trade and investment destinations in this part of the world and that, we are competitively at par with the rest of the other regions of Europe, Middle East and Americas.
