The PCCI Infrastructure Committee was created to help ensure seamless, cost-effective, and modern infrastructure development in the country.

It is the committee's commitment to work towards the improvement and success of the President'serformance TrackingSystem to fast-track the implementation of government projects that will help increase the country's competitiveness. Part of this advocacy is the focused monitoring of airports, seaports, and railway projects as identified under the President's 2006 State of the Nation Commitments.

Government, Industry, Academe undertake review on Philippine Engineering Curriculum
In its joint effort to improve the education program of the country, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCCI), through its think tank, the Universal Access to Competitiveness and Trade (U-ACT), organized a meeting between the Engineering Industry and the Presidential Task Force on Education (PTFE) at the Ateneo de Manila University on April 30, 2010.

PCCI Monitors Completion of 68 Infrastructure Projects
Seeing the need for private sector’s involvement in the monitoring of the government’s infrastructure projects, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has instituted a working committee that will look into the completion of the on-going infrastructure projects in the country.

The PCCI with 30,000 strong members and 100 chapters in practically all provinces and major cities nationwide is actively working with the Pro-Performance Infrastructure Task Force under the Office of the Presidential Management Staff in monitoring the projects and ensuring that they are moving on schedule with proper funding and quality standards in place.

PCCI GMM with PMS Chief on P200-B Infra Budget
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) will hold its next General Membership Meeting on 07 May 2008, 12:00 noon at the Rizal Ballroom C of Makati Shangri-la Hotel. The Guest Speaker for the said event is the Head of the Presidential Management Staff, Secretary Cerge M. Remonde, who will present on the 2008 P200 Billion allocation of the government for infrastructure.

The regular PCCI GMMs serve as an important venue for meaningful discussions on policy issues affecting private-public sector relations and the business community as a whole.
