PCCI hosts business matching with Malaysian firms
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCCI), the country’s largest umbrella business organizaton, will host a business - matching session between Philippine companies and an 8-man delegation from the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers on May 21, 2013, Tuesday, from 3 to 5 p.m., PCCI president Miguel B. Varela said yesterday.
The session will be at the PCCI office, third floor of the Commerce and Industry Building at Mckinley Town Center in Taguig. Interested local companies may join the session.

PCCI hails new investment upgrade; urges gov’t to do more in job generation and poverty reduction
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the largest umbrella organization of businesses in the country hailed the announcement of S&P’s credit upgrade on the Philippines following an earlier upgrade made by Fitch Ratings.
“PCCI is very pleased with this development and we hail the credit ratings agencies that have acknowledged the reforms instituted by our government to ensure that our economy remains resilient and stable,” Atty. Miguel Varela, PCCI president said.
