Enhancing the Business Environment

In line with its thrust to promote business development in the country, PCC works closely with key government and legislative bodies in the formulation, development, implementation, and evaluation of government plans, policies, and programs.  The Chamber also articulates its position on bills or laws affecting the business industry by actively participating in various public hearings and technical working groups in Congress and other government agencies.

As the recognized voice of Philippine business, historically, PCCI represents the business sector in a number of government bodies tasked to implement various policy and support programs. These include the following:

  • BOC Customs Consultative Group (CCG)
  • PCCI-BIR Joint Tax Commiittee
  • BIMP-EAGA Council
  • Philippine Services Coalition
  • Cargo Handling Evaluation Committee
  • Small and Medium Enterprises Development (SMED) Council
  • Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
